Chegato High School is a private coeducational institution governed by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Zimbabwe (ELC-Z), located in the rural Mberengwa District of Midlands Province, in Chief Mposi's area.
Founded in 1957, Chegato High School has a rich history of academic excellence. It became the first secondary school in the district to offer Form IV in 1966 and Form VI in 1986. The school is renowned for its outstanding academic achievements, including a student achieving the best Cambridge 'O' Level results nationally in 1987.
